The Alp Design Avalon harness is a thigh harness with padded bands which makes it incredibly comfortable. It is lightweight with a low point of connection.
Probably a better harness for those foreign caves where the temperatures are warmer and you find yourself with less clothing on, meaning the padding would be much more appreciated. It would also be of interest to those who spend more time ‘sitting’ in their harness whilst caving.
