The 'Blackmoor' Caving suit is a world first in commercial caving suit design, featuring incredible new materials, improved sizing, modified panel designs and much more.
 
 
What's New?
 
1. Reinforcement panels. The reinforcement areas (Arms, Shins, Seat) are made of an ANSI level 9 UHMWPE material, giving industry leading abrasion and cut resistance. This material is used by the military and police for tactical equipment and protective gear. No other commercial caving suits have this material as standard!
 
2. Stitching. Not just 100% thicker but also made of a brand new Dyneema style UHMWPE material. This material is highly abrasion and cut resistant as well as being rot proof. This stitching is used in police stab vests and other military clothing due to its impressive properties.
 
2. New Cut. The new cut will offer a better fit to a broader range of people, our sizing charts have also been updated to be more accurate. The 'Blackmoor' also features far less exposed stitching in the high abrasion areas such as shoulders and seat.
 
3. Better Velcro. After feedback about the velcro becoming 'fluffy' after prolonged use the new 'Blackmoor' range feature a class A hook and loop, this is much tougher, stronger and longer lasting.
 
4. PU Lining. All caving suits by GEO Technical Equipment have a thin clear PU lining applied. This coating aids with waterproofing and will not peel away after use like many thicker coloured PU coating.
 
5. Fleece lined collar for that extra bit of luxury and comfort while underground.
 
6. Reinforced cuff closures. Reinforced with double thickness corder style fabric helps prevent premature wear of the velcro closure.
 
The Blackmoor range is available in two key sizing options, the standard 'Blackmoor' and the 'Blackmoor Comfort'. The comfort range are designed 4 inches larger in the hips, chest and waist while keeping the arm and leg lengths in check, meaning even if you have a larger core body you should find a suit that fits you properly, this is a common issue with some other brands on the market.
 
These caving suits are made of high quality materials with industry leading abrasion resistance. The product testers here at Trogg Shop raved about the Blackmoor range as a fantastic heavy duty suit particually praising the improved cut, stitching and superb resilience.
 
The Blackmoor range have some great features such as a small pocket on the left arm which is perfect for fitting spare 18650 batteries in a small case. The front procket has been designed to be deeper to allow a modern smart phone to be put inside safely. A fleece lined collar keeps you comfy on longer trips and the hood features two velcro chin tabs as well.
